Why shellfish

Green Wave Robotics Mission

At Green Wave Robotics we believe the world needs more sustainable protein. Meat production accounts for ~12-17% of global green house gas emissions. Bivalves (Oysters, Scallops, Clams, etc.) are among the most sustainable sources of protein we can produce. There are no preservatives, no fertilizers, and no hormones used. They feed on natural algae grown by the sun. While bivalve farms produce significantly less emissions, they also provide ecological services, enhancing the natural ecosystem they are grown in. We're proud to enable more shellfish production through industry leading automation.
